In 2003, Carrie started her insurance career as a receptionist at an independent agency in Salt Lake City, UT. She came from a retail management background and wanted a more stable working schedule to accommodate raising her children while working. Immediately she knew this was a field that she wanted to understand more thoroughly and build a career out of. She obtained her P&C insurance license within six months of joining the agency. As a licensed insurance producer she started a new position as an Account Manager and quickly caught on. Within a year, she was managing large, convoluted accounts and helping producers write new business. In 2009 Carrie obtained her Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation. This professional designation is given to those that complete and pass the written exams of all five of the CIC institute classes. Carrie has used her extensive knowledge of the insurance industry to build a satisfying career. She has experience with a wide variety of clients, from restaurant owners to oilfield welders, to airplane part manufacturers and anything in between. Carrie utilizes her resources to always find a home for the most complicated of risks. In 2013, Carrie met Adam at a previous agency they were both working for. They were married in October of 2014 and in January, 2015; she came to work for the family agency. They are expecting their first child in August. Carrie also has a daughter, Kailey and a son, Dylan.
